Before we start

A few things worth knowing.

Every journey starts with a conversation. Here are some of the questions we are most often asked about working with us, creating journeys in Spain and what you can expect from the process.

Working with us

We work primarily B2B, partnering with travel advisors, travel designers, tour operators, destination specialists and other travel professionals who need a trusted Spain partner on the ground.

We can also work with organisations, associations and other professional partners when the project is a good fit for our expertise and the way we work.

Our work is primarily B2B, and we are usually brought in by a travel professional or organisation to create and operate the Spain component of a journey.

In certain circumstances, we may work directly with a traveller, depending on the project and the services required. Where we do, the terms of the engagement, scope of work and applicable fees are agreed before we begin.

No. We create fully tailor made journeys around the traveller, the occasion and the brief.

We may use destinations, experiences or ideas as starting points, but we do not sell predefined packages or fixed routes.

We work throughout Spain rather than specialising in one single region.

Our particular strength is knowing how to look beyond the obvious and connect well known destinations with lesser known places, experiences, people and local relationships.

Knowing Spain for us is not about knowing one region. It is about understanding how the country fits together.

Knowing the main destinations is very different from knowing how they connect, who to call, what is worth doing, when to go and where the experience becomes genuinely special.

We bring the local knowledge, relationships and operational expertise that allow you to create a more considered journey without having to manage all the details on the ground yourself.

Absolutely. This is one of the reasons we are here.

Tell us what your clients enjoy, what they have already seen and what kind of journey you are looking to create, and we can look beyond the usual routes to find places, people and experiences that genuinely fit.

Creating the journey

Absolutely. Tell us who the traveller is, when they are travelling, what they are interested in and what matters to them, and we build the journey from there.

Yes. Multi region journeys are one of the things we particularly enjoy creating.

We look at geography, season, travel time and what genuinely belongs together rather than simply adding destinations to a map.

Of course. We do not believe travellers have to choose between the two.

A journey can include Madrid, Barcelona, Seville or San Sebastián while also taking clients somewhere they would never have found on their own.

No. We are a full service land DMC, not an excursion provider.

We can handle the complete ground arrangements for a journey in Spain, including accommodation, transportation, guides, experiences, activities, restaurants and other services needed to make the itinerary work.

The level of service can vary according to the brief. Some clients may want a fully planned and guided journey from beginning to end. Others may prefer a more independent journey, with the important pieces arranged while leaving plenty of room for exploration.

What we do not offer is simply an isolated day excursion, such as a standalone day trip to Segovia.

Absolutely. Full service does not mean that every moment has to be organised or guided.

Some travellers love the freedom of having their own car, choosing their own pace and discovering Spain independently, with the important pieces already taken care of.

We can design self drive journeys with accommodation, a carefully considered route, selected visits and experiences, restaurants, logistics and recommendations, while leaving plenty of room for spontaneity.

The level of structure is always adapted to the traveller.

As much or as little as makes sense for the traveller.

Some journeys are highly curated, with private guides, experiences, restaurants and transportation arranged throughout. Others might simply need the right hotels, a rental car, a few exceptional visits and a well designed route.

We do not believe a tailor made journey needs to be over programmed. Sometimes the best way to experience Spain is to have the important pieces taken care of and leave room to simply drive, stop, wander and discover.

Absolutely. You do not always need us to start from a blank page.

If you already have a route, programme or itinerary in mind, we can provide the land services around it, refine the journey where useful and handle the arrangements on the ground.

We can also suggest alternatives when we see an opportunity to improve the routing, timing or overall experience.

Land services

Yes. Accommodation is part of our land services.

We source and book the properties that make sense for each itinerary, from carefully selected hotels to distinctive independent properties, historic stays, rural hotels and other options depending on the client and journey.

Yes. Transportation is part of our land services and can include private transfers, drivers, chauffeur services, trains, rental cars and other ground transportation depending on the itinerary.

Yes. We work with trusted local guides and specialists across Spain and match them to the destination, subject and traveller rather than using the same approach everywhere.

Not automatically. Because our journeys are tailor made, guiding and tour leadership are designed around the itinerary and the client’s needs.

We can arrange private local guides, specialist guides, tour leaders or other accompanying staff where appropriate.

Yes. We can work with different group sizes, from private journeys for couples and families to larger groups, incentives and events.

The approach, logistics and services naturally change with the size and nature of the group.

Where possible, yes. Our local relationships are an important part of what we bring to the table.

Some experiences are not available through standard booking platforms, while others require the right local contact, timing or introduction. We will always be transparent about what is genuinely available and what can be arranged.

Yes. Food is an important part of discovering Spain, and we can incorporate restaurants, producers, markets, wineries, tastings and other gastronomic experiences according to the traveller and the journey.

When to travel

There is no single best time for the whole country.

Spring and autumn are often particularly rewarding for combining culture, landscapes, food and local life. Winter can be wonderful in the south and for certain seasonal experiences, while June is often an excellent month for northern Spain.

July and August require more careful planning. Much of Spain is very hot and many of the country’s most desirable coastal and rural areas become extremely busy. If dates are flexible, we generally favour late spring or early autumn.

Absolutely. Winter is one of the most overlooked times to visit Spain.

Andalucía and parts of the south can be wonderfully mild, while the mountains offer snow and winter activities. It is also a fantastic season for quieter cultural journeys and experiences such as olive harvesting, truffle hunting and seasonal gastronomy.

It depends entirely on the journey.

Summer can work, but it requires deliberate planning. High temperatures, peak demand and crowded coastal and rural areas can significantly change the experience.

We do not simply recommend going north as the answer. The right destination, pacing and experiences need to be considered carefully.

The practical details

The earlier the better, particularly for complex itineraries, peak travel periods, large groups, destination weddings and journeys involving distinctive or highly sought after properties and experiences.

That said, we are happy to look at shorter lead times when availability allows.

A rough idea is enough to begin.

Ideally, we would like to know who the traveller is, approximate dates, number of travellers, interests, preferred pace, budget range and anything particularly important to them.

We can then start shaping the possibilities.

You send us the brief. We discuss the traveller and the journey you have in mind, develop the itinerary and services around it, and work with you through the details until everything is ready.

Once the trip is confirmed, we coordinate the arrangements behind the scenes and remain your Spain partner throughout.

No. We focus on land services in Spain, so international and domestic flights are booked by the travel agency or travel professional.

We can, of course, take the flight schedule into account when designing the itinerary and coordinate all the land arrangements around it.

For our B2B travel partners, quotations are complimentary.

For private clients or projects outside our usual B2B model, a planning or consultancy fee may apply. We will always make this clear before any work begins.

This depends on the type of project and who we are working with.

For established B2B partners, we work according to the agreed booking and payment terms for the journey.

For projects outside our usual B2B model, an advance planning or consultancy fee may apply before we begin detailed itinerary development or reservations. Any applicable fee and payment terms will always be agreed in advance.

Our focus is on creating thoughtful, high quality journeys rather than fitting every client into a particular category.

What matters most is the traveller, the brief and the kind of experience you want to create.

That is completely fine. You do not need to arrive with a finished itinerary.

A conversation about the client, their interests and what they are hoping to discover in Spain is often enough for us to start finding the right direction.

Of course. Sometimes the best journeys begin with a simple conversation.

Tell us what you are thinking, who the journey is for and anything you already know. We can take it from there.

Let's talk

Tell us what you are creating.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you contact us.

Tell us about your client, your idea or simply the kind of Spain you are looking for.
